Continental Academy Introduces Online High School GED Program for Students 18 and Up

PRLog (Press Release)– Mar 18, 2011– Continental Academy, a distance learning facility based in Florida, is giving older students the chance to improve their opportunities in the job market with an online high school GED. The PACE (Pioneering Alternative Career-Centric Education) program is a completion program that prepares students who want to enter the job market soon.

The PACE Program is an online curriculum that allows students to learn at their own speed. This online high school GED program has 16 credits and is designed to be a completion program that enables students to finish high school online. The curriculum is based on the values set by the National Education Standards.

Continental Academy does not offer its PACE Program enrollees the same courses. This is because each course is individualized to suit each student's transcript. The academy will do a professional evaluation of the enrollee's official high school transcript from the school he most recently attended and recommend courses based on that assessment.

To enroll in Continental Academy's PACE Program, the enrollee must be at least 18 years old, with a computer and a reliable internet connection. He must also submit a transcript of his grades from his most recent school for evaluation. All subjects with a "C" grade or higher will be credited.
